The product is made from 94.97% pineapple with the addition of 5% passion fruit juice. The even rings are convenient to eat and look attractive with desserts, yoghurt or porridge.
The passion fruit juice gives the pineapple a more tropical, fruity character. The passion fruit flavour comes from the juice rather than pieces of passion fruit.
Good to know
A light crystalline coating may develop on the surface of dried fruit over time as sugars from the fruit and fruit ingredients, such as juice, crystallise. It is not a sugar coating.
